NTDTV Paris correspondents reported that Paris staff member Ms. Chen was robbed on the afternoon of February 9. All cash collected from selling NTDTV's New Year Gala tickets was stolen. This further interference targeting NTDTV's New Year Global Gala follows the Korean Gala's venue being forcibly canceled.

At around 2 p.m. on Thursday February 9, NTDTV's New Year Gala staff member Ms. Chen left home to deliver tickets to a customer. One and half hours later, Chen's friend went to her house when she noticed that her house gate was open and the room was a mess.

Ms. Chen hurried home and reported the event to the police. The robber had searched everywhere in Chen's room. The cash collected from selling New Year Gala tickets was robbed, and some expensive jewelry was also stolen.

Ms. Chen is a Falun Gong practitioner who had many times received harassment calls by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) spies. Chen said that she had lived in the region for twenty years and that she had never encounter this kind of theft. She believes that CCP spies did this.

Chen also connects the robbery with the recent beating of The Epoch Times' Chief Technical Officer in Atlanta. The Paris Gala preparation team and NTDTV's partner The Epoch Times condemned the robbery.
