The
Epoch Times Addresses the U.N. Reviews “Nine Commentaries” and the
CCP’s crimes
Back

GENEVA - Before
a large audience at a meeting of the Administration of Justice of
the Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights,
M. Grangier, representing Epoch Times International, denounced the
atrocities and violations of human rights by the Chinese Communist
Party (CCP).
Appearing by invitation of a non-governmental organization, M. Grangier
informed the Assembly that the newspaper had published in November
2004 an editorial series titled “Nine Commentaries on the Communist
Party.” Translated into more than 20 languages, this series has been
circulated worldwide, including in China.
In May
2003, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted a draft agreement
between the United Nations and Cambodia to open a lawsuit against
the Khmer Rouge. One third of the population died from torture, from
famine, from disease, from exhaustion through forced labor and from
Party purges.
The purges carried out by the Communist Party of the former Soviet
Union under Stalin in the 1930s cost 20 million people their lives.
One of the last bastions of totalitarianism in the world is the CCP.
“The Nine Commentaries” exposes more than 55 years of a reign of terror
and atrocities committed in China in the name of an ideology. The
facts are shocking: since 1949, between 65 to 80 million people have
been killed by the CCP. The CCP has been responsible for massacres,
murder, brainwashing to eliminate all beliefs other than their own,
deception, manipulation and lies.
Fifty-five
years of history are recounted: from the elimination of counterrevolutionaries,
the Cultural Revolution, the Great Famine of the 1960s, the Tiananmen
Square massacre, the persecution of the Tibetans, the Christians,
the Uighurs, to the total eradication campaign carried out against
the Falun Gong practitioners affecting more than 70 million innocent
people – an eradication campaign without precedent.
“Through reading these ‘Nine Commentaries,’ the Chinese people have
discovered that they have been living under deception and tyranny,”
said M. Grangier.
From that moment a great wave of resignations from the Party has taken
place. It is a turning point in the history of the country. Since
the beginning of the year, nearly 3,300,000 members have resigned,
at a current rate of over 20,000 a day. Back
How
Many Members Does the Chinese Communist Party Have?
Back
By Li Ming August
1, 2005
In only eight
months since the publication of “The Nine Commentaries on the Communist
Party,” more than three million people have resigned from the Chinese
Communist Party. This is indeed a miracle.
Why did so many people withdraw so quickly? For those who have read
The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, the answer is clear:
it is the result of the party’s wickedness and thus inevitable loss
of approval.
I recently left mainland China, the real number of party members is
much lower than what the party reports.
The Working Class: In the late 1980s, the Chinese economy was at the
edge of collapse due to the Cultural Revolution. Deng Xiaping proposed
to allow one group of people to become rich first. Once the gap between
rich and poor was increased, it only continued to widen. Communist
party members used their power and resources to collect wealth from
any source. After absorbing company funds, company equipment and inventory,
they would sell company real estate.
These corrupt officials bankrupted enterprises of all sizes. Within
ten years, communist party officials bankrupted 90 percent of the
companies in China, but these officials themselves became millionaires
and billionaires.
Many workers became unemployed, and become beggars or tramps. The
party organization of miners and workers were collectively disbanded.
The communist party organizations in cities have already disbanded.
If all those who want to withdraw from the party could read The Nine
Commentaries and resign online, then the number of resignation would
go up by the tens of millions.
Peasants in mainland China today: If you go to a city or village,
no one will admit to being a communist party member. When you even
mention the word “communist party member,” people think of deceit,
irrationality and injury.
After the peasant and worker organizations disbanded, 80 percent of
the party members were dispersed. With an empty shell left, the Chinese
Communist Party may collapse anytime, following the fate of its European
counterparts. Back
The
Crimes of Communism Should be Condemned

Let me also tell
you that I am proud to be invited as a speaker today, however I am
sorry I can not personally be present.
I am the rapporteur to the Council of Europe. So far, neither the
Council of Europe nor any other international intergovernmental organization
has undertaken the task of general evaluation of communist dictatorships.
Indeed, however difficult it is to understand, there has been no serious,
in-depth debate on the ideology which was, and is, at the root of
widespread terror, massive human rights violations, death of many
millions of individuals, and the plight of whole nations. Whereas
another totalitarian regime of the 20th century, namely Nazism, has
been investigated, internationally condemned and the perpetrators
have been brought to trial, similar crimes committed in the name of
communism have neither been investigated nor received any international
condemnation.
The absence of international condemnation may be partly explained
by the existence of countries whose rule is still based on communist
ideology. The wish to maintain good relations with some of them may
prevent certain politicians from dealing with this difficult subject.
I am of the opinion that there should be no further undue delay in
condemning the communist ideology and regimes at international level.
This should be done both by the Assembly in the Council of Europe
at parliamentary level and by the Committee of Ministers at intergovernmental
level.
Furthermore, the Assembly should recommend to the Committee of Ministers
the setting up of a committee which would carry out comprehensive
investigations concerning communist crimes in Council of Europe member
States. At the same time, the member States, which have not done so
yet, should be urged to establish such committees at a national level.
These committees would be expected to co-operate closely with the
Council of Europe committee.
The ultimate goal of the work of the Council of Europe and national
committees would be to establish facts and propose concrete measures
aimed at bringing quick justice and compensation, and pay tribute
to the memory of the victims.
Last but not least, an awareness campaign on the crimes of communism
should be initiated.
In my view these actions will keep the discussion and debate about
crimes of communism alive. It will therefore be a help to democratic
forces and influences in communist China. In today’s society with
modern technology, such as satellite broadcasts, internet, cell phones,
and ever growing tourism and trade, it is in the long run, impossible
to keep the people uninformed and isolated.
I foresee the collapse soon of communist rule in China.

Chinese
Special Agent Discloses CCP’s 3-Year Spy Plan Back
By Xin Li July
28, 2005
TOKYO - Hao Fengjun,
a former special agent for China’s Public Security Bureau who is currently
applying for political asylum in Australia, gave an interview to the
Channel 9 special “Behind Chinese Walls.”
When asked whether he would apply for asylum in Japan if turned down
in Australia, Hao replied that there are too many secret agents in
Japan; that it would not be safe for him there. Again referencing
the 6-26-3 Plan, Hao said, “ Japan, along with North America, Australia
and some other countries, has been targeted for intense monitoring
of Falun Gong activity, especially in the coastal cities.”
Though only directly active in Australia, as a secret agent Hao was
privy to a great deal of information from other regions in the spy
network, including Japan.
According to Hao, at the June 26, 2002 meeting of China’s Ministry
of Public Security in Taijin, the decision was made to shift the focus
of the CCP’s extensive overseas spy network to monitoring of Falun
Gong practitioners. A comprehensive plan was drawn up that required
its operatives in all major cities around the globe to have a complete
monitoring system in place within the next three years. The plan came
to be referred to as the “6-26-3 Plan.”
All operatives were required to compile a detailed profile on each
Falun Gong practitioner, including an exhaustive list of personal
contacts in Mainland China. Anyone associated with Falun Gong was
targeted regardless of their actual level of involvement or whether
they had ever appealed to the CCP to end its persecution of Falun
Gong.
The information is then passed on to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and among other things, is used to create a “black list” to be distributed
to all of the consulates.
The airport customs officers are notified via computer link of the
inbound travelers, who are detained and then given over to the Public
Security (read 6-10) officers. Once in the hands of the 6-10 Office
these practitioners face intimidation and torture.
The secret agents to Japan and other countries are sent as businessmen,
with fake companies, as this gives them maximum status and mobility
within foreign countries.
Hao reminded us that there is a defection hotline in the U.S.: 1-818-309-4529,
which anyone considering defecting can call for advice and assistance.
The key seems to be making more Chinese aware that such support exists,
that they are not alone. Back
Harvard
University Student Rejects the CCP Back
The Epoch Times
July 27, 2005
I am from Henan
Province, China. Since I came to the United States to study at Harvard
University, I have learned many things I didn’t know before. Now I
understand the fundamental reasons for China’s poverty. Before I came,
my plan was to finish school in the United States and then go back
to China to work for my home country. I was too naïve, and had
no idea whom I would be serving. My parents gave their entire lives
to the Chinese Communist Party, and I thought if I served the CCP
well, they would be proud of me. I was only a simple-minded young
man back then. Now, I am appalled to learn about all the crimes the
CCP has committed. I will no longer walk on the path charted by the
CCP!

An
Appeal to the United Nations: STOP Radio Jamming! Back
By Virginia Louis August
07, 2005
In the name of freedom of expression, Mr. Michel Wu, former correspondent
in France for the Xinhua Agency, courageously resigned from this media
agency that has been strictly controlled and manipulated by the CCP
ever since the 1989 events at Tiananmen Square. He subsequently became
editor chief of Radio France International’s Mandarin Language Service.
(The Epoch Times)
Sound of Hope Radio (or Son de l’Espoir), an independent Chinese radio
network which broadcasts to many parts of the world, is being jammed
by the Chinese Communist Party.
Mr. Michel Wu, a journalist
for more than 40 years, recalled how “the totalitarianism of the CCP
manifests in absolute control of the media, both inside and outside
China.”
As a journalist
and a former editor in Radio France International’s Chinese Language
Service, Mr. Wu launched an appeal to the international community
and to the ITU (International Telecommunications Union) to bring the
jamming to an end and to allow Sound of Hope Radio to continue broadcasting
throughout China, for “in this country, where freedom of expression
is completely flouted,” he said, this radio network succeeds in broadcasting
very factual documentaries on world affairs and on China, and “this
is what the Chinese people need to hear about today.” Back
